We’re Going to Indonesia
We’re just under 1 week from hopping on an airplane and making our way south to the wonderful (++read warm++) islands of Bali and Komodo!
What am I looking forward to the most??? Warm weather! Definitely ready to get away from this cold and dreary weather.
Puff the Magic Dragon
The first part of trip we’re heading to Komodo to play with some pre-historic lizards.
Hopefully this won’t be us…but there are not guarantees

I’ve had a fascination with these creatures since I was little and never thought I’d actually get a chance to see them in person. We’re not only getting to see the dragons but we’re going to explore some of the nearby islands.
We’re signed up for a cruise / tour with [Flores XP] which seems like a pretty legit group. I mean they even provided a cartoon of what you need to bring!
Clearly they understand and are my type of people. They recognize that if they put this in text (sans-cartoon) I would not have given it a second look….now I feel manipulated.
The tour promises snorkeling, dragons, camping and hikes. I’m pretty excited for it and we’ll definitely put together a review of our experience and post it here.
Ubud
Next stop on the trip is to the wild wild Ubud. Not really sure what we’ll do there other than kick it old school.
Warm weather, cheap food and good coffee…what more could you want?
