Time for Exhibition

Spreading out prints in my "creative space"

I’ve recently started to prepare for an exhibition that I’ll be having next year in Tokyo.

It’s going to be an exhibition about Sakhalin. I’m not really sure what the theme will be and I’ve been struggling with making any progress towards the exhibition.

I’ve finally narrowed down the timing with the gallery so April / May of 2018 is the time. I’m excited that I’ve got a deadline and now it’s just about putting the time in.

Today I finally spread out some prints and started to go through them. Starting to arrange them with some sort of flow. I think it’s important and valuable to print things out and physically touch them. 

This allows me to see what I’ve got and what I don’t. Even though I’m not sure what the story or theme is, I can already tell that I’m missing details. 

Time to sweat the small stuff!
